I use it all the time for interviews and lectures, the quality is second to none.

Picks up voices when there is a lot of ambient noise as well as from a distance. Looking forward for the iPad edition.

Well worth the $$. Does exactly what you expect! Super sensitive mic can even record from inside your pocket. Files are easily and wirelessly transferrable to your computer.

I just used this app it to record an afternoon of talks at a convention and the quality was excellent with very little background noise and no distortion whatsoever. This was my fallback recorder as well, since my stand-alone Panasonic Voice recorder battery died, but the app on my iPhone sounds way better than even the stand-alone voice recorder. A+

I try a lot of apps of different types. Its fun for me to compare apps. I have stopped trying voice recording apps because this one is so good that I honestly can not imagine anything better. It has all the features that I could need and cant imagine anything missing. I didnt like the interface at first but I really like it now. It takes no time to get used to despite the fact of how different it is. It does everything as well as I think the iphone technology allows. I will stick with it until I hear of something better, but I am sure that will not happen unless the developers go to sleep. There are a few interface things that I would like tweaked but I will not bother them about it since it is so minor. Thanks to the developers for a great app.

Its been a couple yrs since my last review of this EXCELLENT sound recording app and nothings changed- I still love it! But Ive also noticed there havent been any updates for a couple yrs. Hopefully because theres nothing to improve on

Not only is it one of the best recorders on the market but I received prompt and accurate support when I needed it. Recommend this recorder wholeheartedly!

This app is copied and saled as HT Recorder for iPad by Appliled Voices LLC, now.

I guess It needs to be able to import the previously saved recordings from the computer into the device (iphone or ipad) to be p e r f e c t.....do you agree?

Intermittent operability problems suggest a compatibility issue with iOS updates.

Enhanced for iPhone 5? All they did was extend the black bar at the top. And icons/buttons are all fuzzy.

We met at WWDC 09, and you had the best audio recording app, that let me capture all the events I was taking notes. The app is very stable. I use it also to record my sons concerts. Stick with it - Thanks for all the good work.

owners manual is missing

I like the recorder but it needs the ability to insert audio at a given point without overwriting previous audio. Do that you get 5 stars Thanks

Ive had the app for close to two years and up until six months ago, it worked fine. At times when I need to record, the app wont work unless I power down my iPhone. When I complained about it to the app creator he said no one else was experiencing the problem so he couldnt help. When I complained a second time, my email was ignored. When you pay $6.99 for an app, you expect better customer service.
